Privacy Policy

Lumen's Lab is developed by Grayforge Labs. This page explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information. The short version: Lumen's Lab does not collect any personal information, and nothing you do in the game leaves your device. The longer version is below.

Information we do not collect

Lumen's Lab does not ask you to sign up or sign in, does not ask for your email address, and does not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. There are no accounts.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your progress (which experiments you've solved, your move counts, discovered Codex entries, and settings) on your device using the system's standard local storage. This data does not leave your device unless you have iCloud backups enabled through iOS, in which case Apple may include it in your encrypted device backup.

No third parties

Lumen's Lab contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no third-party login, and no crash-reporting service. The app makes no network requests to us or to any third party as part of normal play.

No ads; one optional purchase

Lumen's Lab shows no ads. It offers a single optional in-app purchase that unlocks the second half of the campaign. That purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store, so no payment information passes through or is collected by the app, and we receive no personal data from it.

Apple App Store

Lumen's Lab is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect aggregate information about downloads and, if you have opted in under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers, may share anonymized, aggregate diagnostic and usage data with us through App Store Connect. You can turn that off at any time. Apple's handling of this data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children

Lumen's Lab is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be mentioned in the release notes for that update.
